There’s a cabinet for drying clothes, and you can pick both your breakfast items and the time you’d like it. The guesthouse has an idyllic view, and with the windows open you can hear the sheep. The heating wasn’t consistent, though, and the room got cold at night.

The living room was ours to use, and we had the best time there. The house and its location are incredible, and both hosts were so sweet. She was very motherly, packing food and drinks for our morning drive. Our NC 500 drive came to a grand end at anchorage and the Isle of Skye.

The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. The common room and guest rooms have absolutely stunning views. The Anchorage is a bit far from restaurants, so plan meals ahead and call to reserve. Thanks for the lovely stay, Calum and Suzi. I highly recommend it if you come to Skye.

The room was comfortable and the views stunning. Callum was the sweetest host and did so much to make us feel at home, including making the vegan breakfast we asked for. He also had great suggestions for Skye if you want to skip the tourist spots and have some adventures. We hope to stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed five nights and would definitely recommend it. You’ll need a car to get there, and parking was available. The room was nice, clean, and had a mini fridge for us to use. Breakfast was a well-made, filling full Scottish, and the hosts were lovely to talk with.
