Meadhon was a perfect place to stop as we headed home after a 4wk tour around Scotland. Jedburgh has plenty of walks, tourist attractions and all the shops you need. Our large room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything needed and no unnecessary clutter. A second easy chair would have been nice for relaxing after a day out. Amanda & Rob welcomed us, carried our cases upstairs and explained what we needed to know. There was a good breakfast choice and a snack tray in the room. We were very happy with our 2 night stay and would recommend it.

Amanda & Rob were warm and hospitable hosts. They suggested places for dinner and even booked tables for us. The pleasant rooms are very well appointed, and breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty to choose from. We had an excellent 2 night stay at the Meadhon Guest House. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Jedburgh.

The quiet location was handy for local attractions, shops and lovely walking trails, and the hosts gave us useful recommendations for exploring. Each morning brought a delicious homemade breakfast, with choices from fresh fruit to a full cooked breakfast. Our immaculate room had a plush bed, soft linens and a nice garden view. Meadhon was a peaceful retreat, with charming decor and a cosy feel that made a welcome break from everyday bustle. The hosts were warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. My stay at meadhon] was delightful and unforgettable.

Breakfast was absolutely divine, with cooked local produce as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt and juices. Rob & Amanda are amazing hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained and well equipped. It’s a central location for town, castle & Abbey, and great value for Money. We’ll definitely stay again.

The B&B is immaculate, well run and organised, with lots of nice touches in the room. Amanda and Rob are lovely hosts and do all they can to give guests a great stay. Meadhon is a Diamond of a B & B in Jedburgh. I highly recommend it and will definitely return if I visit Jedburgh again.
