The music was just a little louder than I like, which is why I’d give this place four stars rather than five. Still, I enjoyed the decor and atmosphere, and came back two days later for another pleasant visit. The food, service, and prices were good both times. On my first visit, the place was busy, but the service stayed very good. I had fish with garden peas and chips, plus a pint of Pedigree. The food was well cooked and tasty, and the drink was lovely, naturally.

We went on a midweek offer to catch up with friends, and had a very good night in this characterful place. The food was good, though I remember the steak and ale pie being even better before. Two of us ordered the roasted lamb, and one serving was a bit too fatty and pink. Still, a really enjoyable evening.

With a table booked, we were seated promptly. The waitresses were all great, and we had a really good meal. We ordered the sirloin, salmon, and Ultimate pie, and all three were delicious and left us more than satisfied. Our 40% off voucher made it very good value.

The management clearly has things well organized. We were seated and served smoothly, and the timing between courses was well handled. Staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without hovering, making us feel comfortable and valued from the moment we arrived at Haworth Old Hall. The service was outstanding.
