The house worked well for our group of nine, from teenagers through to people over eighty, and Haworth has plenty to see nearby. We loved the welcome pack and the rooms were nicely decorated. Just bear in mind that the bare floorboards make the rooms and main stairs quite noisy. Some of the little changes in floor level were awkward for older relatives, and the stairs to the basement weren't an option for them. Although it sleeps up to ten, the drive barely fits two small cars. With three cars, finding somewhere for the extra one was an ongoing hassle. It's a holiday rental, not a B&B or hotel.

Haworth village is only a couple of minutes away on foot, and you should definitely have a look around. We were ten and the house had lovely views across the Yorkshire countryside, plus plenty of character. The owners made us feel welcome, including biscuits in the hamper. A couple of drawbacks: one bedroom is very small, and the shower went cool pretty quickly. Parking is tight, with space for one car, or possibly two, and street spaces aren't always easy to find. If those things aren't a problem for you, it's a very worthwhile place to stay.

The host communicated really well, and we were glad of the welcome hamper. It's a lovely house with excellent views.

It felt warm, clean and welcoming, and it's a wonderful place. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.

The unusual layout suits an extended family perfectly. A brilliant, one of a kind place.
