The building has plenty of space for group meals and games, with a good amount of outdoor area too. There are lots of rooms in different styles, so it works for families, couples or solo guests, and it's an easy walk to the steam railway and the lovely village of Haworth. We hired the place for a reunion with old friends. Before we arrived, the staff answered questions promptly and gave us lots of useful information, and everyone was friendly. The kitchen is on the small side for a large group, though just about workable for breakfast. We also tried the hostel's curry buffet, which was delicious, with generous servings of tasty curry, samosas and naan. The dining room was beautifully arranged. We'd happily stay again.

The hostel is an impressive building, and it was clean and warm. We slept comfortably and the showers were good. Breakfast was very good too. From YHA Haworth, it’s around a 25 minute walk to the Bronte Village, or a five minute drive. We had a great stay.

The building is full of character, from the carved wood and stained glass to its high ceilings and little nooks. It has such a special feel that, if I believed in ghosts, I’d expect to find plenty here. The staff were helpful and friendly, and it still feels like a YHA for the most part, though I’m disappointed it’s no longer a true YHA and is run by a partner now. There was no bar, despite the website mentioning one. The cooked breakfast was also a letdown compared with other YHAs: it was cooked properly, but the ingredients were obviously cheap. Even with those drawbacks, it’s good value in a popular area, and the building keeps its charm.

The hosts were so friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. We had one of the best afternoon teas at the YHA, with fresh, tasty food and generous portions for an excellent price. Highly recommend.

The children had a great time in the games room, while the older kids and adults could relax in the sitting room. We booked several rooms for family members and held a party in the newly renovated entertainment room. The building is beautiful, especially the stained glass windows and spiral staircase, which made for great photos. We were lucky with the weather, too. Everyone was treated extremely well, and the service was brilliant. It was a really fun stay for the whole family, and I’d happily come again. I recently had a brilliant experience at YHA Haworth and can't recommend it enough.
