We came for one night while visiting bowness. Maureen was a lovely, friendly host, and our spotless bedroom had a lovely view. Breakfast had loads of choice and was great. There are some nice local pubs for dinner too. Couldn’t fault anything, thank you.

We only stayed one night, but everything was perfect. The atmosphere was fantastic, the breakfast delicious, and Maureen made us feel very welcome and was so helpful. It was a lovely stay for us and our dog Luna. Thank you, Anita & Andrew.

The homemade bread at breakfast was delicious, and the room had a lovely view. I’d recommend plum tree house to anyone needing a place to stay in the Lake District.

Maureen was so helpful and made sure everything was just right before our Lake District hiking challenge. She even arranged breakfast for my fiancé, who had to leave very early. We had a brilliant stay in a lovely b&b, with a great room and lovely homemade breakfast. Just perfect!

Maureen shared some useful tips about running routes and booking dinner, and I really enjoyed breakfast, especially the homemade bread and muesli. The village location was lovely for walks and local pubs. A lovely stay.
