We slept really well in the very comfortable beds, helped by how dark it gets with no outside lights. The barn conversion has been finished to a very high standard and has some excellent features. It was pretty well equipped, though a few more frying pans would be useful.

We found it very clean and welcoming, with lovely views, and it’s a lovely place for family or friends to stay. The only drawback is the road to the barn, a single-track stretch of over two miles with a few pull-ins. Driving back and forth can be tricky at times, especially if you meet a large tractor. Still, I’d recommend it.
