The garden and accommodation made this feel like great value, and we hope to return before long. We spent three nights at The Hill and were delighted with our stay. Jo-Anne and Jerry made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The house is spotless, with lovely decor and thoughtful details. Breakfast had loads of choice and was superb, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The Hill BnB was a lovely place to spend two nights. JoAnn and Gerry were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast had a great choice, and we found it very comfortable. Windermere is an easy drive away, and there's a good bus service if you're without a car. I'd definitely recommend it.

The room was lovely and, while not large, had plenty of space for our visit. Breakfast was great too, and the location worked really well for all the tourist spots. Loved our stay.

JoAnne and Gerry were the highlight, warm and engaging, full of local knowledge and great stories about their past. Ask Gerry about Beatrix Potter! The house is lovely, with beautiful gardens, and the rooms were spotless and well supplied. Breakfast was consistently excellent, especially the homemade jam. It's peaceful and away from town bustle, while frequent, uncrowded and reliable buses stop right outside for Windermere and nearby towns.

We spent two nights at this lovely B&B, and couldn't find a single thing to fault. We've stayed in B&Bs all over, and this place felt like a hidden gem, with attention to detail throughout. Gerry and Jo were fantastic hosts in every way.
