A really nice place, with new, clean flats, lovely furnishings, comfortable beds and friendly staff. I'm not a golfer, but the course looked nice. It's on the edge of the lakes, so the touristy areas are easy to reach, while Kendal itself isn't too touristy. There are lots of local pubs within walking distance, so you can enjoy plenty of good ale. Just a nice spot.

A great stopover for a night's rest on our way from the south to Edinburgh. The room was really clean, the bed was comfortable, and we liked it. It wasn't especially expensive either.

The golf course was really good. The greens were impeccable, and even after all the rain, only a couple of areas were wet. Our room was clean, the staff pleasant and helpful, and the food was good, especially breakfast. We got very good value for a one-night stay, with two rounds of golf, an evening meal and breakfast included. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this lovely lodge for a quick night on our road trip. It was clean and comfortable, and having a separate bedroom for our daughter was great. The bathroom was huge and modern. The only reason for not giving full stars is that we'd have liked breakfast to be included in the price.

The lodge is less than ten minutes from Kendal town centre, right beside a golf course. We enjoyed walking around the greenery and seeing rabbits hopping about. We spent one night there. The room was small, just enough space for a bed, but daylight from outside gave it a cosy feel. The bathroom was spacious and especially clean.
