Gloucester Road Underground station is an easy walk away, which made getting around convenient. The hotel has been modernised really nicely, and the rooms feel bright, clean and current. Bathrooms are a decent size, and you can open the windows.

The staff made this stay. We had our very energetic toddler with us, and they were lovely about helping with our food and bags. Someone even danced with him in the lobby. Our room was really nice, with thoughtful little touches, and the location worked well too. Thanks for such a great experience.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a very good selection and good quality. The room was standard and did what we expected, and the hotel was generally comfortable and well located. The problem was the air conditioning: it only blew cold air, so the room could feel uncomfortable when we needed heat. A solid stay otherwise, though that issue did affect our comfort.

The lounge has a great selection, and the private gym next door is much better than the usual hotel gym. The location is expensive, though, and for a room at that price it's really annoying that you can't connect Netflix or TouTube to the TV. In 2026, that feels like something the room should have.

We checked in at 3pm on 14/02/2026. The room was very clean and nicely dressed, and the station was only a few minutes away on foot, handy for our West End visit. We had an unfortunate, rare issue with the room that I won't share here so as not to embarrass anyone. The staff dealt with it well, and the receptionists were wonderful. I regret not getting their names so they could receive proper recognition. I'd return because of the staff alone.
