We hardly spent as much time indoors as we'd planned, since the apartment could use some softer furnishings to make it feel more welcoming. Still, it was a comfortable, warm, modern place, and both bedrooms had amazing views. A larger mirror and plug sockets in the bedrooms would help, and the blinds were dusty and awkward to use. The parking space was great, and the location worked well. These were minor issues in a newer apartment, and I'd say it's worth trying.

Please don't waste your time or money booking this accommodation. We got no arrival instructions, so we had to spend the first night at a premier inn. The key box details finally came through at 4am. There was no hot water or heating, and the boiler showed error messages. The emergency numbers wouldn't connect, and there was no way to leave a message. If we hadn't been travelling with kids, it might have been laughable. Faulty Towers would've been a better stay.

It was quiet at night and only a few minutes' walk from Keswick centre. The place was warm, comfortable, well equipped and just right in size for two. The basics felt a bit expensive, though, and the shared entrance and hall had a bit of a youth hostel feel. There's no WiFi, and the TV channels are limited. That didn't bother us, but it could matter to other people. We booked through Sykes. Online booking was easy and the follow-up information was excellent, though the staff weren't the friendliest we'd dealt with.

We found the place through air bnb and had a really nice stay. It's less than a five-minute walk to Keswick centre, with free parking and good Wi-Fi. The price was very reasonable. Look it up on air bnb if you need somewhere, Steve, apartment #3.

Chaucer House Apartments are spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities. It's a great place to stay in Keswick, peaceful but still near the town centre.
