Fellpack House

The Fellpack is in a really convenient spot, but it’s quiet too. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was beautifully decorated and had a good shower, and breakfast had lots of excellent options. We had a wonderful two night stay and I can’t fault the place. Would love to return.

Ben was brilliant, so welcoming and relaxed, and did everything he could to make our visit memorable. We booked a midweek anniversary getaway last week and arrived to find balloons in the decorated room, such a lovely touch. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious, and the fresh cookies each morning were a nice extra. We’ll definitely be back.

Ben was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the book nook downstairs was a relaxing spot, stocked with plenty to read. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, an amazing bathroom, and views of Latrigg and Skiddaw. The place is quiet and refined, with a high end feel, a nice bar and a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was really tasty, and the location is great for exploring Keswick and the fells while still feeling tucked away from the crowds. The car park is small, but we were given a permit for the main Keswick carpark opposite. The rooms were comfortable, too.

The people working here were the highlight, kind, thoughtful and professional. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge menu, gluten free and vegetarian choices, and amazing fresh juice. Our bedroom was spacious and light, with idyllic views over the fells, thoughtfully designed decor and a stylish retro ensuite. There was plenty of room for us and all our luggage. The big bed was comfortable, and we slept well, though the room was very warm when we arrived, so we had to leave the windows open all night. We were lucky to find on street parking right outside when we arrived late. We only stayed one night, but it was easy to walk into town and down to the water early, before anyone was around. The Nespresso machines and cute cups in the rooms were a nice touch.
