Lindisfarne House

The owners were pleasant, friendly and ready to help with any questions. The room was clean and comfy, if a little small, and did the job for what I needed. My bathroom was down the corridor, which wasn’t ideal. It was for my use only, though I did find another resident using it, and that didn’t really get in the way. Parking is on the street, so it could be tricky, but I was lucky enough to find a spot straight away.

We stayed for two nights recently and would happily come back. The staff were wonderful, and the rooms and whole place were the cleanest I’ve experienced in a very long time. It’s close to both town and the lake. The shower was really nice, and breakfast was lovely. Thank you!

The superb breakfasts are a big part of why I keep returning, and any issue gets dealt with quickly and efficiently. I’ve now stayed here six times, always for the same week each year. The rooms can be small, but with all that beautiful scenery outside, who wants to spend time indoors? The service brings me back year after year. What better recommendation is there?

The location is good and there’s on-street parking. The house smells of cigarette smoke, though it’s not as strong in the rooms, and apart from that it was clean. The room and shower room were both very small. It was fairly basic but did the job. Breakfast starts at 8:30 and was fine, nothing special.
