My walking group of 10 has eaten here twice. They say this delightful pub serves the tastiest Sunday dinners in the Dales. The prices are reasonable, the friendly staff serve you without delay, and we’ll definitely be back.

The pub is rather nice, which made the Indian buffet all the more disappointing. The sauce was watery and had little flavour.

The coal fires and welcoming staff made the place feel lovely, and the beer was great. Our room was warm and comfortable for our anniversary, and we ate well too. 😊

Kevin made our stay especially memorable, and we loved the food, too. It’s in a beautiful village, and we’d happily come back again and again. Highly recommend it.

Kevin was so helpful while we were there during the very busy scarecrow festival. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. The onion bhajis were the best we’ve ever had, and the curry we had for tea was great too.
