The rooms were comfortable, and the cleaning staff were cheerful and helpful. I stayed for a few nights and found everyone helpful. Nancy and Gillian were especially friendly and cheerful, and went out of their way for me. I'd give them ten stars if I could. A good experience, and I'd highly recommend it.

Nancy was very pleasant and friendly when we arrived. The weather was awful, so it was lovely to find our family room warm and clean. We booked it for the extra space and a bath. The location is great, parking was free, and there's a lovely pub right on the doorstep. Premier Inns often charge up to an extra £15 for parking, so that was a bonus. As we were leaving the Lodge to go out, Irene, the evening lady, kindly offered us a brolly. The staff made a big difference to a very good stay. We'd definitely stay again.

The room felt tired, and I think this Travelodge is overdue for a refurb. My main issue was the awful shower pressure, especially when other guests were showering too. The bed was comfortable, but there were no sockets near the bedside table. I usually enjoy staying at Travelodge, and the woman at main reception seemed nice enough.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location suited us, and there's a nice pub opposite for dinner or breakfast if you don't want to go further afield. I'd stay again.
