The breakfast lived up to the good reviews and was even better in person. Jim and Debbie welcomed us into their home like family, and cooked a lovely meal with great produce. Special mention for the eggs made just how you like them and the perfect porridge. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully put together, with its own fenced garden. Lovely linen, a comfortable bed, fluffy white towels, and lots of thoughtful touches. The highland cow and stag themed toiletries were fun, and there was a tea tray, fridge, fresh milk, treats for the dogs, and everything else we needed. The place is great for dogs, and well located for walks and local places to eat. Jim and Debbie gave us good advice on things to visit too, and have what you need for a short or longer break. Communication was warm from the time we booked. We had car trouble on the way, and Jim and Debbie quickly called a local garage that managed to fit us in despite being fully booked. Thanks for making us so welcome. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a fully cooked breakfast in the morning, with other options available, and having a dog-friendly place was a real bonus for us and Molly, our 12yr old Yorkshire Terrier. Debbie and Jim made us feel welcome. The room was just right for an overnight stay, spotlessly clean, warm and relaxing. The bed was super comfy, the shower warm, and the towels soft. There was plenty of tea and coffee, plus a microwave and fridge. Would highly recommend.

The room was lovely, and everything we needed had already been provided. Debbie and Jim were so happy to help if anything came up, and they couldn’t have been better hosts. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were heading to Arran, and this was a perfect place to stay beforehand. The room was great and breakfast amazing. Debbie and Jim even offered us a hot drink when we arrived, which was much appreciated, and a lemon too. We’ll definitely come back.
