Breakfast in the lounge was lovely, especially the scrambled eggs from the hens wandering around the gardens, along with homemade preserves, toast, cereal, tea, coffee and juice. Our Garden Room was spotless and spacious, with a really comfortable bed. The shower was small but fantastic, with strong water pressure. Hartree is a beautiful house with lovely gardens, and Charlotte was so kind and helpful. We booked at the last minute and were very glad we did. Thanks again, Charlotte, for fitting us in.

Charlotte made us feel at home straight away and was warm and accommodating throughout. Breakfast was cooked to order, with eggs from her own chickens and her homemade jams and marmalades. Hartree is a lovely Victorian house, comfortable and homely. 10/10.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and there was a guest sitting room to use if we wanted. Our host was friendly and attentive, and even offered to chill a bottle of wine and provide glasses. We tried the local pub she recommended and had a great time. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with excellent ingredients. Fabulous place.
