I was at a party in the Windsor function hall and waited more than ten minutes to be served at the bar. When my drinks arrived, one glass was covered in bright red lipstick. I asked for a clean glass and the man behind the bar just poured the drink into one. That shocked me. Why would I want a drink that had been in a dirty glass? He remade it only after I said I wouldn't drink it. For the rest of the evening he was a bit rude, vaped behind the bar with children at the party, and wasn't pleasant. The other bar staff member, a young woman, was fantastic. I couldn't fault her.

The staff were so friendly that when we stayed out and missed check-out, they let us off without an extra fee, even though they didn't have to. The room was lovely and homely, and we had full kitchen access with tea, coffee, cereal and toast. It's in a great spot within walking distance of town. Would definitely recommend.

The room is compact but really clean, and the cleanliness is very good for a reasonable stop-gap. Noise is an issue, though, from the bar crowd and from neighbouring rooms when their showers run. There's tea and coffee, but in another part of the building, so you have to get fully dressed to make a cuppa. The little sink only has cold water, but the shower works and has hot water.

Really nice and clean, and the staff were great. I was in the hotel bar and everyone was welcoming. Lovely place, well looked after, and I'd recommend it.
