David was a very kind, friendly host. When we arrived in the evening, the lights and heating were on and everything was ready for us. The house is well equipped, with two decent-sized, clean bedrooms, each with a basin and wardrobe, plus a kitchen and living room. There’s a bathroom with shower and toilet upstairs and another toilet downstairs. Electric heaters in every room kept us warm. It's a nice townhouse right in central Kirkwall, but being close to the local bars meant the street got quite noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. It didn't affect our stay too much, and we were really happy with the accommodation. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
