Their advice was fantastic, so trust it, and have a look at the booklet in your room. If you have questions about public transit, check the timetables, route maps and connections. We found the location really convenient for travelling mainly by public transit, and the quality for the price was excellent. More than approved! The people were lovely, and the place was comfortable, warm and welcoming. We had such a great time and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Breakfast was delicious, and our room had plenty of space. It’s about a 15-minute walk into town, which was fine for us. Such a lovely place and family. I’d happily stay again.

Albert made us feel at home from the start, such a warm, friendly host. We also loved the breakfast, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, with a shower that had great pressure and temperature. It’s a quick 15-minute walk into Kirkwall town. Grainbank Mews is a beautiful historic building, and you can see the care and hard work that went into restoring it. A lovely base for our Orkney trip, and I’d recommend staying here.

The cooked breakfast was excellent, and our host was helpful with questions about places to eat and things to do and how to get around. The beds were so comfortable, with big, deep mattresses, and the shower room was fab. It was peaceful and quiet, too. The accommodation has been refurbished and is about a 10-minute walk from town. We’ll definitely be back, and wish them luck with the next phase in the meantime.
