After a couple of years away, I came back to find there was no parking, so I had to leave the car in an overnight car park 20 minutes' walk away. For £150 for one night in November, breakfast wasn't included either. Such a shame, it used to be a great place. The owners need to take note.

A friendly Brew York pub with a brilliant selection of some of the best beers out there. The Korean Street food was delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

We were visiting from Australia and had booked a night here, then realised we'd picked the wrong place and couldn't make it. I tried calling to let them know, but nobody answered, so I sent an email. I understand a refund may not always be possible when a booking is made by mistake, but getting no reply to either our calls or email was really disappointing. Even if they couldn't refund us, a basic acknowledgement would have helped. I'd have appreciated a reply explaining the policy or situation. No response at all felt like very poor customer service.

I was genuinely surprised by how good this hotel was. Great location and atmosphere, with big, really comfortable rooms. Netflix, YouTube, and other channels were included too. 10/10.

We went for lunch on a Friday. The food was delicious Korean and Japanese street food, served in bowls or baskets with wooden cutlery. You order using a QR code. There's street parking nearby, and it's close to Knaresborough train station. They serve Brew York ales along with ciders and spirits. The staff were lovely and even brought out a board and knife so my husband could cut the birthday cake a friend had brought.
