The team made everything feel easy on the day, and we had so many lovely comments about the food. They handled guests’ allergies and dietary needs really well, and the whole day ran smoothly. In the evening, Mr H Productions, the resident DJ, played loads of our requests and kept everyone dancing all night. Emma was brilliant during the run-up, and she, Michaela, Alan the chef, and the rest of the team were fantastic when it mattered. We first saw Coltsfoot in torrential rain, but even then we knew we wanted to get married there. It felt more intimate and private than the other venues we viewed, and we loved the cosy main barn and courtyard. Coltsfoot gave us the relaxed but professional day we hoped for. The food was a real highlight. Alan’s hot buffet was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and a hit with every guest. People were still talking about it afterwards, and the freshly made pizzas later in the evening went down a treat and kept the party going. Emma and Lyndsey looked after us so well, anticipating what we needed and helping the evening flow smoothly. They were warm, calm, attentive, and professional, and both we and our guests felt completely cared for. Every detail had been thought through, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The setting was welcoming and relaxed, and our wedding party at the weekend felt effortless from beginning to end. It was everything we hoped for and more. We’ll be back in 2028 for our joint birthday celebrations! Clare & James

Having the place exclusively, with accommodation so guests could stay overnight, worked brilliantly for our wedding. Emma was a great coordinator, especially that morning, helping with arrangements and keeping everything on schedule. The food was delicious, and catering for 120 people while meeting everyone’s dietary needs was impressive. We got married here in May 2024 and couldn’t have asked for a better day or venue. I’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

We had such a fabulous day, and the staff were attentive and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The immaculate grounds gave everyone room to spread out while still feeling intimate. There are lots of places to relax inside the barn, and adding the ceremony room has made a real difference. The team at Coltsfoot were great through the whole process. Our planning meetings were useful and well paced, and the meal tasting gave us a lovely preview of the day. Five stars and more. We’d happily recommend it as a wedding venue. Thanks to the whole team!

Poppy the dog was the star for me, especially after Nick named her the sausage hunter. The Alpacas were lovely too. I covered a beautiful wedding here with my company, Sober Events UK. The staff were polite and helpful, the location was picturesque, and the overnight accommodation was brilliant. Breakfast was five stars as well. If you’re looking for somewhere to host an event, this place ticks all the boxes. Need entertainment? Give us a shout.
