We went to Knipoch House Hotel for my wife's birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, though it was all too brief. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the Scottish country-style premises felt warm and clean. Our roomy, well-appointed bedroom looked over the garden to Loch Feochan and had a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The hotel welcomes pets, even providing a special bed for our dog. We had an aperitif in the lounge before dinner in a small, cosy dining room. The food was excellent, and staff were particularly attentive to allergies, quickly bringing suitable alternatives when needed. We look forward to coming back soon.

The garden view we booked was the one thing I didn't like. My partner and I love flowers, and we understood it was February so they wouldn't be blooming, but we didn't expect the view to look like a dumpster. The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's 13 minutes from Oban city centre. There's a hot tub for £10 per room per hour, and early or late check-in/out costs an additional £10 per room per hour. Check-in is at 3pm and checkout at 11am. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with hot options.

The food was lovely and the service impeccable, though the food was a bit pricey. That's my only complaint about this wonderful, spotless hotel, and we'd definitely stay again. We had a lovely one-night visit. Two gentlemen greeted us and offered to carry our bags to the room. The room was lovely, with a massive bed, a bed for our dog, underfloor heating in the bathroom and a great shower. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up the next morning.

We loved how peaceful Knipoch House Hotel was, and it was only a short drive into Oban for shops and things to do. Our room was lovely, the staff looked after everyone so well, and breakfast plus both dinners we ate there were delicious. Just what we wanted from a relaxing stay.

The views were absolutely amazing, and the staff made us feel welcome while staying friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the cocktails and coffee too. Such a lovely experience for the price.
