The Hinton Guest House

Ann made sure I had everything I needed, and she was so lovely and accommodating. The Hinton Guest Home is clean and welcoming, with good-sized en-suite rooms, a nice dining area, a garden and a conservatory where you can relax. There are several good pubs nearby serving nice food, along with a CO-OP and a small bakery, and most are within walking distance. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and we’ll definitely be back. The welcome is second to none, the rooms are warm, quiet and comfortable, and they have en-suite bathrooms. Free parking and a gorgeous breakfast are great extras. What an amazing place.

We slept perfectly despite being close to Manchester airport, with no disturbance from planes. Anne was welcoming, organised and helpful, even arranging local taxis when we needed them. The room was adequate and very clean, and breakfast was freshly cooked. A chippy, a coop and several pubs are within walking distance.

The location in Mobberley village makes getting around easy. The Coop mini market, local pharmacy and bus station are only a couple of minutes away on foot, with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield and Altrincham. Local pubs are about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms and the rest of The Hinton Guest House are always spotless, and breakfast is a highlight, cooked just right and served by friendly, attentive staff. Our families have used this guest house several times while visiting us nearby, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for seven nights in December 2024. Ann has always been responsive and extremely helpful, making booking straightforward and stress-free, and her warm hospitality and attention to detail really make the place special. We’re lucky to have such reliable, high-quality accommodation close by. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Ann, for making our families feel so welcome every time.
