We went to the restaurant for a meal and were told to go to the bar. When we tried to sit at a table, the bartender barked at us. He wasn’t helpful when we asked for assistance and said he couldn’t help. The customer service felt poor and abusive, and we were very upset. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. It wasn’t the friendly, helpful welcome Scotland is known for.

The steak and ale pie was gorgeous, and it was the first place we’d found serving it during our week on the NC 500. The barman was friendly, and the man serving breakfast the next morning was just as nice and easy to talk to. Breakfast was very good too. Rooms were super clean, and there’s plenty of parking on the same level as the room. The receptionist was friendly and professional. The beds felt a little hard to me, and I would have liked a bigger TV. The price was a bit high compared with other places we’d stayed that week, and the place is a little dated, but I don’t understand its 3.7 rating. We booked at the last minute and found nothing wrong with it.

The bar is beautiful and has a really good vibe. I ended up in Kyle of Lochalsh amid all the chaos and power outages from Storm Amy, and the people here were incredibly kind and hospitable. I’d definitely stay again.

From check-in to check-out, the friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Our cozy room had a beautiful view and a jacuzzi bath we hadn’t expected. Both dinner and breakfast were fab, served by cheerful, friendly staff. We’ll definitely return. Keep up the good work kyle hotel.
