My fiancée and I stayed last weekend and slept perfectly. Breakfast the next morning was exceptionally good. It's a really great place, and we couldn't have asked for more.

I was working up that way from Leeds, and work booked me in at the last minute for one night. They went above and beyond to make me welcome, even calling the local pub to book a table for my tea. Both hosts were very friendly, and the place had a lovely, warm and happy feel. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and breakfast was sensational, with a big choice of cooked and cold options. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're in the area, this is the place to stay.

We stayed last night, 26th April, for a wedding and fell in love with the place. They let us have our room early so we could get changed, which was a lovely touch. The couple were so welcoming and clearly put a lot of pride and joy into everything, and it shows. Alan showed us around with a Scottish welcome. The place was tidy, our room spotless, and the decor throughout was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding and set us up for the day. 10/10, we'll be back to try your lodge with hot tub soon. Alan's a true gentleman and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We both slept well in the comfy bed. The room was beautiful and spotless, with everything we needed, and breakfast was delicious, especially the amazing sausages. We look forward to coming back.
