We stayed at 700 Westport from 22 February to 10 March 2022, and it was such a pleasure coming back here after work. The setting is gorgeous, with birds in the garden and along the canal, though the photos don't really do it justice. Sandra was warm and helpful, and even the neighbour next door was friendly. The house and grounds were very clean, and the kitchen was larger than it seemed in the photos, with good quality equipment that all worked well. Washing dishes was almost enjoyable with that view. We also loved the comfortable sofa and all the little thoughtful touches: delicious cupcakes, rice krispies for our toddler, plus eggs, milk and bread. There are nice restaurants not far away. We loved our stay, have been telling friends and family about it, and can't wait to return.

The beds deserve a mention first: we both slept incredibly well, the best night's sleep I've had in years. The garden beside the canal was a lovely spot for a glass of wine in the evening, and Sandra made us feel welcome throughout, with a professional touch from beginning to end. The home was spotless and beautifully decorated inside, and looked just as well presented outside. It's in the countryside, close enough to get where we needed to go but away from the city's hustle and bustle. I knew on arrival I'd picked the right place. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

There’s plenty of space outside, with a large garden and lots of seating. The cottage itself is quiet and comfortable, in a really pretty setting. A lovely place.
