We ended up adding another night because we liked it so much. The location is dreamy, with the beach just a stone’s throw away and town about a five-minute walk. We paid £60 a night, which felt like a bargain for somewhere so relaxing. Marie took our call that morning and got us in soon after, a huge relief with our two dogs and our lively two-year-old in tow. She was warm and welcoming, and the room was clean and spacious. We’d driven to Largs as a family on a glorious blue-sky winter day and found this little gem. There’s plenty to see and do. Thank you!

Marie is very pleasant to deal with, and the place is extremely dog friendly, which suits us perfectly. On our third stay, we had a large, perfectly clean room for £55, with a double bed, a single bed and a small fridge. There’s a microwave, cutlery and plates available too. The two shared bathrooms include one with a bath and shower above it. Morrisons is around the corner, the promenade is a two-minute walk away, and central Largs takes about ten minutes on foot. Haven House is budget, room-only accommodation. Yesterday was our third stay... enough said.

The cleaners came in each morning to ask if I needed anything, and kept everything spotless. Marie greeted me when I arrived and was so lovely and welcoming. She explained the policy, which is very relaxed and doesn't restrict you in the slightest, then showed me to my room. It was large, clean and tidy, with a kettle, sink, TV and mini fridge. Clean cutlery and cups were there for making coffee too. I booked four nights and would recommend Marie's B & B to anyone.

A+ for this cosy, clean place. The service was super friendly, and there’s a lovely garden at the front. It’s near the seafront and town centre, but just far enough away to stay quiet. Brilliant accommodation, I’ll definitely stay again.
