We didn’t want to leave! My partner and I booked Spring Park for an anniversary break in St Agnes, hoping for a special hot tub getaway, and it was just what we wanted. The place was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with lovely attention to detail and everything we needed to be comfortable. The hosts were super accommodating. We’d love to return and try another of your stays. Thanks!

The hosts were lovely and even brought us a barbecue with utensils. We ate at The Eliot Arms, which was number one on TripAdvisor, and found it fine and reasonably priced, surprisingly cheaper than Kent. Hercules at Spring Park is a peaceful, very minimal wagon in a beautiful part of Cornwall, though the drive down was lovely and the clouds seemed to settle over the area. Every night was grey, so sadly there were no sunsets. There’s no TV or Wi-Fi, which didn’t bother us, but for more than a romantic weekend it could get a bit boring. It feels better suited to readers than people looking for luxury. The hot tub was gorgeous, although the view from it was overgrown; stand up and the view is lovely. Inside, two separate chairs by the fire didn’t make for much cuddling in the evenings, so it wasn’t quite the cosy couple’s setup we expected. A quiet off-grid escape, as long as you’re not after luxury or sunshine.

We had a lovely stay in Hercules, spending the day listening and reading, which was bliss. Di & Peter were incredibly kind. Sadly, we had to leave after two nights of our four-night stay, but we’d definitely stay again.

We stayed at Farm house over Christmas. The grounds people were lovely, and the welcome pack was good. The wood-fired hot tub was a nice touch, though it doesn’t have bubbles. The place wasn’t as luxurious as others we’ve stayed in and could use some updating and a deep clean. There weren’t any children’s games, playing cards or even Monopoly. Sadly, we wouldn’t return as a family.

We had a little party one night and nobody complained about our drum and bass. Hercules is incredible, tucked into a lovely secluded patch of woods, and the hot tub is a treat. Be careful not to overheat it, though: I put too many logs on the burner and we had to watch it for four hours until it cooled enough to get in. We’d 100% recommend it for an off-grid getaway. Get it booked!
