The New Inn Hotel

For the Cotswolds, this was amazing value, especially with breakfast included. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff were kind and amazing. The rooms are basic but very clean, and they were changed every day. The main drawbacks were noise and the windows in the door, which let in a lot of morning light. Food was satisfactory. I’d recommend it to others.

A great base for exploring the Cotswolds, in a lovely town right by the Thames. The hotel has private parking, a pub and a dining area serving excellent food.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but after staying at The New Inn this week for work, I wanted to share this find. I travel to lots of hotels for work, and this is the best place I’ve stayed in for a long time. Had a great night’s sleep, and the bar was cosy and relaxed, with an open fire and nice music. The food was excellent quality with generous portions, and the staff were friendly. Good pints of Guinness and Hawkstone too. 10/10, definitely worth trying if you need somewhere to stay around here.

I can only speak to the pub and meal, not the accommodation. The service was spot on, with a warm welcome and just the right number of check-ins to see if the meal was okay or I needed anything else. The staff seemed to care about doing a good job. The pub was cosy and the restaurant room a nice size. I had feather of beef and steak, cooked blue, with a bread board and olives to start. It looked and smelled amazing, and tasted even better. The steak was so tender, one of the best meals I’ve had. Great portion and price, no complaints at all. I’d highly recommend it and will be back for the food and service. Well done, team, keep up the high standards.
