The house really did feel like a home away from home, with a lovely lounge and a big green garden. Breakfast was generous, from cereal, fruit and yoghurt to toast, spreads, coffee and a cooked meal made to order. Our room was quiet, clean and well cared for, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Pauline and her husband were warm and helpful, with good advice about the area. We had all the facilities we needed, plus little treats with our tea or coffee. There’s a nice pub just a few minutes’ walk away with good food at reasonable prices. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Highly recommended. If it looks fully booked, it’s worth calling the hosts to check, as they’ll be happy to advise.

The kindness of Pauline and John made our weekend over the Malvern festival especially enjoyable. We had a lovely, comfortable room and a very hearty breakfast, and the hosts were ready to help with anything. We had a wonderful few days and will definitely return. This stay sets the standard I’d hope other superior guesthouses could reach. Thanks so much for looking after us.

Pauline and John made us feel welcome from the start, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s a beautiful, comfortable place, and breakfast is cooked to order. We’d happily book again and recommend staying here.

From the garden there’s a nice view, and the countryside around the place is lovely. A pub serving good food is just a stone’s throw away, with a pool table and dartboard too. Lots of attractions, including castles and old houses, are an easy drive away. The owners were lovely and helpful, and our room was pleasant.

We were very happy with the stay. The hosts were charming and friendly, and did all they could to make sure of that. Breakfast was excellent, and our room was extremely clean and comfortable. It’s a pretty cottage surrounded by lovely gardens.
