Apartment hotel Roomzzz Leeds Headingley

We spent Christmas here and would recommend it as a good value place to stay in this part of Leeds. The apartments are well equipped, and there’s enough in the basic kitchens to cook for yourself. The caretaker was very friendly and offered help when we arrived. Parking is free and feels secure, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the rooms have TVs. The beds were perhaps a bit squishy.

The only hiccup came on checkout day, when the hot water stopped working. I called customer services, maintenance came to our room and fixed it, and the site let us check out an hour later. The cleaners also came halfway through our stay to refresh the apartment, which was nice, and otherwise we had no issues. We were in Leeds for a family wedding and had found Roomzzz while looking for an affordable, light, spacious two-bedroom apartment close to family. In past hotel stays, the space and lighting hadn’t been great. I signed up as a free member and got extra savings. A week before arrival we realised we needed to add the previous night, and customer services were able to accommodate the change. On arrival I collected the keys at another location, where the staff were very helpful. I’d highly recommend Roomzzz for a future stay. It’s definitely good value compared with nearby hotels.

The apartments are convenient and well appointed, with plenty of parking and a choice of sizes from studios to two bedrooms, all with full kitchens. The heating is the drawback: it doesn’t run on a timer, and some apartments have broken radiators, so it can get cold. Otherwise, great accommodation.

Reception staff were so friendly and helpful, and the apartments worked perfectly for our festival trip with a group of mates. They were clean and roomy, with Headingley and Leeds city centre about a five-minute drive away. Would happily recommend.
