Premier Inn Leeds East

The car park was spacious and secure. We’d booked online a couple of months ahead for an event. Check-in felt a bit odd, even though the person at the front desk was polite. I hadn’t realised they needed to ask guests for their nationality. We were first given an unsatisfactory room, but the change was quick and seamless. Breakfast was good, and all the ladies looking after the area were awesome. The fire alarm went off randomly at night a few too many times. One small thing to note: the shower is fixed overhead, though I’m not sure if that’s true in every room.

The room was clean and nice, and I slept well each time. If all you need is somewhere clean to sleep, it’s perfect. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, so can’t say how the food is. When I had an issue, Sharon made sure it got resolved. The lift takes you to your floor, but there are stairs on every floor that lead down to the hallway where the rooms are. With several suitcases, a wheelchair or mobility issues, this is really annoying. You have to use a set of stairs to reach your room. I’m not sure why it’s designed that way, and it may not suit someone who struggles with stairs.

The internet is painfully slow, which is the one thing I hate. Otherwise it’s all comfortable. The rooms have a modern, minimalist feel and the floors don’t creak. I always sleep really well when I stay at Premier Inn. Highly recommended! 💕

Pretty standard Premier Inn, with no big issues overall. There’s a small breakfast dining area inside the hotel rather than a separate restaurant, and there’s a restaurant next door for evening meals. A loud vibration woke us around 8am on floor 2, and we could hear it in the corridor too. That was annoying. The back door also didn’t work when I scanned my room key, and there wasn’t a sign saying it was out of use.
