I’ve found Scape Leeds a great place to live, especially as a student who moved overseas like me. You can walk to pretty much everything, and there are lots of restaurants, cute cafes and bars around the city centre location. The gym and study spaces are great facilities, and friends can use them too. Staff are a big part of why it feels welcoming: the receptionists are always ready to answer questions with a smile, and Tom and Lynn were friendly when they came for the required room inspections, which turned into a nice chat. Living right beside the gym has brought some slight noise issues, but the staff have been good about helping find ways to deal with them.

I’ve been really happy living at Scape. The cleaning and maintenance teams keep the building in pristine condition, and the activities are thoughtfully planned to give us a good experience. On move-in day, every staff member was so helpful. It also means a lot, especially when you’re away from home, to be greeted by someone lovely at reception in the morning and again in the evening after a long day at uni.

The welcome from the staff, always with a smile, makes this place feel inviting. The accommodation has a great location, modern, spacious, well-designed rooms, and a three-floor gym among its top-notch facilities. I also love the built-in ceiling speakers in the kitchens, such a cool touch. Events run throughout the year with fun activities and, best of all, delicious free food. The lifts could move faster, and the WiFi sometimes drops, though neither gets in the way of daily life much. It is on the expensive side, but I think the quality, facilities and experience make it worth the price.
