A handy pub to stay at if you're going to an event at the arena. The room was nice and big, with everything you need, and guests get a 15% discount at the bar, which is a bonus. It does get loud at night, with music going into the early hours, so I'd strongly recommend using the ear plugs they provide.

We stayed Friday into Saturday for the football and would definitely come back. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we had our own key so we could come and go as we pleased. There's 10% off drinks too. The room was massive, and the location is good, about a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station. Rates were good. It's a bit dated, but clean and lovely and warm, with towels and shampoo provided. It was a little noisy, but that's town centre life. It didn't bother us, and we fell asleep straight away.

Stayed a night in Leeds for a gig. The rooms were adequate for what you pay, but the staff really make the place. Kaci, the bartender, was friendly and knew her stuff.

We popped in for a drink before the Grand theatre, which is just across the road. The young guy serving was friendly and shared some tips on local food. Showing our theatre tickets got us 10% off, too. We'd left the bar opposite because the service there was terrible, so this was a much nicer stop.

The shower barely ran, and there was only one bar of soap. Outside, people were banging on the back gate from 5am, after the club across the street had kept going past 3am with crowds out front. Easily the worst night I've had in Leeds.
