I spent my last two years here and honestly have no complaints. It’s tidy, neat and really spacious, with lots of room for your belongings and kitchen supplies. The staff made a big difference too. Jamie and Ian were always happy to help, and greeted everyone with a smile that rubbed off on you. It’s a smaller site than others nearby, which suited me because it stays quieter and less busy. My only gripe is that the rating stops at five stars.

This is my second year at 41 castle street, and I’ve loved living here. The accommodation feels modern and is kept to a good standard. Whenever something comes up, Jamie and Ian at reception sort it out quickly and with care. They’re lovely to talk to, too. I’d happily stay for a third year. Shout out to Jamie and Ian for all their work x

The location and staff are lovely, and the place itself would be perfect for me. But every couple of days the fire alarm goes off at an ear-splitting volume, then can stay on for hours. The people living here are horrible too, screaming and banging on the walls, and waking us every night. If it weren’t for that, this would be a five out of five stay. C’est la vie, amirite.

It’s easy to get around from here, since the accommodation is close to the town centre. The staff are welcoming, really nice and helpful. I’ll definitely book again in future.

The only reason I didn’t book another year was how far it is from the University. I stayed here last year, though, and still miss it. It was the best place I lived during my four years in Leicester. My room was clean, bright and spacious, with loads of storage. The kitchen was lovely too, with enough shelf and storage space for everyone. The staff were wonderful and truly there to help. I highly recommend it.
