The room didn’t have any water, and there was no filtered water anywhere. When I asked for some, I was told a small bottle would cost £2. The staff member said, “It’s £35/night, what do you expect?” I pointed out that I’d paid £75, but got a response along the lines of, “It is what it is, pay or no water.” The customer service was appalling. I paid £75 for one night on a work trip, and the room looked nothing like the website. It might sound cheap and cheerful, but you’d be better off at Holiday Inn. Please don’t stay here.

For an economy motel at Leicester Forest East M1 northbound services, this was good value. I paid less than £50 a night for a three-night midweek stay, and I’m rating it five stars for what it is. The double bed was comfortable, the room warm and a decent size, with a TV and good-speed free WiFi. The bathroom was good, there was plenty of hot water, and reception was open 24 hours. The receptionists were friendly and nice. It was noisy from traffic, though. The windows looked very old, and I think putting in double glazing could make a considerable difference. I’ll return.

We stayed at Days Inn on 20 February for one night. The hotel and staff were lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed twice now and would definitely come again. I’d posted a review before, but mixed up the hotels and left this one a bad review by mistake. It was the wrong hotel, and this one deserves five stars.

It’s a comfortable hotel at a very affordable price, with friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. There’s a small bar in reception, and you can order pizzas to eat on the premises. If you order breakfast, it’s served at the service station next door.

Our family of four chose Days Inn Leicester for a night in Leicester, but I wouldn’t tell anyone to stay here. We had to pay £5 for parking as soon as we arrived, which was ridiculous. In the room, one of the bed mattresses was on the floor, so I slept on it and kept getting jolted awake by trucks and cars racing past. I only got a few hours of sleep. For breakfast, we had to go to the services, and a single piece of bread cost £2.25. Orange juice was £2.00 each too. Even the mushrooms were either undercooked or overcooked. I don’t recommend this place, please don’t go for your own good 💀🎀
