UR STAY Apartments Leicester

The stairs were a workout, with several flights and no lift, and we weren't prepared to carry our bags up them. The listing photos didn't show the room we actually got, which was misleading. They'd promised a desk, but there wasn't one. The apartment was said to sleep six, yet the lounge had seating for only four, including a chair that felt like a plank of wood. We complained and were moved to another apartment, which was another joke. The boiler wasn't working from the day we arrived. Engineers had to come and replace a melting immersion, and another came at the same time to fix the broken heaters. This happened while our parents were trying to cook in the kitchen, and nobody warned us they'd be coming. The 'host' said he was at the dentist and couldn't message us. The customer service was poor, with empty excuses and reps constantly talking over me. I eventually stopped reporting problems and just put up with the cheap mattress, which felt like a bumpy hill and ruined my sleep every night. The duvet was like a big lump of cotton wool rolling off the bed. The place charged a lot for the apartment, and it was a horrible experience. I'll never book with these guys again or use Ur Stay, even if they paid me. I do really like Leicester, though, and will go back to the city.

The apartment was neat, clean, well maintained and centrally located, and the rest of our stay was wonderful. The bathtub was very big and hard to climb in and out of, so it doesn't seem suitable for senior citizens. Jay was an absolute star.

Jay, the manager, helped us from booking right through to check out. The staff at UR STAY provided amazing service, and the apartments were lovely. I couldn't fault anything and will definitely book again. Thanks for your hospitality :)
