Castle Keep Tea Room

The food was generous, really tasty, and very reasonably priced, and our room was comfortable with lots of charming little touches. Sharon and Ken made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were thoughtful hosts, told us about the history of the village, and Ken even let my partner try his guitar. The cosy BnB is tucked into the beautiful Dales in Middleham and felt like a home away from home. Castle keep tea rooms left us feeling cared for and already keen to return. A real gem, and we'd happily visit again.

We were greeted by two gorgeous Paterdale terriers when we arrived, and the welcome and food were both lovely. It's a beautiful tea room, with excellent service, and they also have accommodation. I can't recommend it enough. A stark contrast to the dreadful, rude landlord at the Richard 111 pub up the road. Thanks, team Castle Keep tea rooms, we'll be back.

We only popped in for elevenses, but were glad we did. The coffee, crumpets, and scones were well worth ordering. The gentleman's breakfast being served nearby looked like it would really hit the spot.

The carrot cake was divine, light and fluffy, and the prices were good too. It's a quirky little business, with very friendly ladies working there. One of my photos shows them sitting at an outside table. Say hello from me and tell them you saw this on Google.
