Cornlee

We had to leave very early for Manchester airport, and our tasty breakfast, made to order, was ready and waiting. Thanks for accommodating our group. It was a warm, welcoming place for our last night in the Dales, with tasteful rooms and very comfortable beds.

We loved staying here. The host, Jason, was incredibly friendly and full of useful information, and the home was immaculate and lovely. The Yorkshire English breakfast was the best version we've ever had, beautifully presented. The yogurt and fruit alternative was just as satisfying with toast and marmalade. The location is fantastic too. A short walk down the road brought us to a delightful rock garden full of little surprises. Further on, green fields dotted with sheep and lamps stretched out between mossy stone walls, like stepping into another era.

Jason was a fabulous host. When we arrived, he offered to book somewhere for dinner and suggested several walks, even giving us a copy of the map. Breakfast was spot on and beautifully presented. We stayed in the twin room with a private bathroom and toilet, and dressing gowns were provided. We've just returned from a stay at this great B&B and will definitely come back. Thank you.

We were tired after our walk, so the tea Jayson made for us to take upstairs was especially welcome. He was friendly and helpful throughout, letting us leave the car right outside the B&B for the full four days of our walk and booking dinner for us when we returned. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and we had a great view of the village green. We really enjoyed chatting with Jayson over breakfast. The place is clearly well run and the hosts care about their guests. If we're in Aysgarth again, we'd have no hesitation about staying at Cornlee.
