Riverside B & B

The sound of the river running beside Riverside B&B was so calming, and the village itself was wonderfully quiet. We picked it at random for a peaceful short break, and it turned out to be a lovely base for exploring nearby places. Roxana suggested some routes and sights, and we took her local advice. The old mill has loads of its original character on show. Our room was spacious, the en-suite bigger than expected, and everything was clean and nicely presented. Booking directly took only moments, and the phone manner was friendly. Check-in was simple too, with everything matching the website. Roxana checked that we were settled in, and breakfast was a real highlight, cooked beautifully with local produce and plenty to choose from. There are pubs in Askrigg if the village options aren't for you. The break went by too fast, but we'll be back.

Bainbridge is such a lovely place to stay, and we had a perfect three nights here. Roxana was kind and helpful, and made us lovely breakfasts. Our room was great and clean, with fresh milk in a little fridge. Thank you, we'd definitely recommend it.
