We stop here regularly to charge our EV on the way to Cornwall. The little deli and cafe are lovely, with a good choice of tea, coffee and cake, always served with a smile. They make a 40minute charge pass very happily, and it's a great little business idea. We haven't used the rooms or fishing shop, so can't comment on those. My only suggestion is to serve the tea in teapots. It's such good quality tea, and a bag left in a mug makes it too strong and doesn't do it justice. Just my opinion!

The meal was great, and the team were so friendly and helpful. It’s a beautifully decorated pub, with rooms for private events and a big car park. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve made this a regular food stop on our westbound journeys for the past four years, and the food has been great every time. We used to stop to charge the car as well, but this time it was just for the meal since my new electric car can’t use the Tesla chargers.

We live nearby, so we haven’t stayed overnight, but we love coming here. The food is lovely, the staff are really friendly, and we enjoy relaxing in the lounge before and after eating. The gardens are lovely too, though they’re more of a summer treat.

The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful, but the food was only okay. Our bread was stale and really unpleasant, and the dessert menu didn’t inspire us either. We left disappointed.
