Catriona and her family, along with the staff, made our stay feel special with all the extra care they showed us. It was my fiancée’s birthday, and we found flowers and a card on the breakfast table, plus a handmade card from Catriona’s daughter. Those thoughtful touches meant a lot. Our room, the Superior Double Room w/ garden view, was spotless and looked just as lovely as it did in the photos. Everything felt high quality, the balcony looked out towards the palace, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Breakfast had plenty of choice, ordered the night before, and the Scottish breakfast was excellent. Before we arrived, an accident in Linlithgow had blocked traffic through town. Catriona sent directions without us even having to call, which got us through and saved an argument in the car. She greeted us on arrival and showed us to the room. I’d happily recommend the Queen’s View, and we can’t wait to return.

The breakfast was superb, and sitting at the big table led to a lovely two-hour chat with another couple. We had stunning views from our room, too. The place is immaculate and finished to a very high standard, with the comforts of a five-star hotel but the intimacy of a B&B. I stayed with my son during the recent Champions League weekend. Catriona and Stephen were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and they even gave us a lift into town one evening. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had such a fabulous stay that I felt I had to. I can’t recommend the Queen’s View Luxury B&B highly enough. Treat yourself to a special stay. I’ll definitely book again, hopefully soon.

From the moment we arrived until we left, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, and the location and customer service were great too. We had a really enjoyable stay at Queen’s view and hope to return before too long.

The breakfast was delicious, and our hostess did everything she could to make us comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful, with a view of Linlithgow Castle. Everything was new, clean, neat and spacious. After staying here, home felt like a shoebox. Truly a luxury B&B.
