The food really stood out for its quality and generous portions, and the service was great. Breakfast the next morning was included and was the best I've had. We'd been recommended the Old Hall Inn and weren't disappointed. It's a lovely little dog-friendly pub, with a good menu at sensible prices, and we got a friendly welcome. Our room was clean, well equipped and came with tea and coffee. We hope to come back and would recommend it to anyone.

We were staying nearby in Hebden, where there are plenty of pubs serving meals, and picked The Old Hall Inn on the strength of earlier good Trip advisor reviews. It lived up to them. We hadn't booked and simply turned up on the off chance. The pub was busy, but the helpful young woman behind the bar quickly found us a table. During National Burger Week, the imaginative chef had at least a dozen burgers inspired by places around the world, including New Zealand, Germany, Spain and France, alongside the usual pies, fish and chips, and a couple of curries. There was something for every burger lover. Ours were top notch, meaty and full of flavour, with inspired toppings. A welcome pint of local brew made for a wholesome, satisfying meal. The service was superb and I'd definitely return to the Old Hall.

The steak and ale pie was tasty, with proper suet pastry, chunky chips and lovely mushy peas. The pub had a nice atmosphere, plenty of space and a good choice at the bar. Other staff were pleasant too. I live nearby and have been into The Old Hall pub three or four times lately. Each visit, the manager, Danny (hopefully the correct name??), has greeted me with a warm smile. His pleasant, engaging service is appreciated. Well-mannered dogs are welcome 🎉

We stopped in twice while camping nearby. There's a good drinks selection, and what we ate was excellent, especially the Pie and Chips. The pie was fully wrapped in pastry, with tender meat, and good value for the portion. Service was great, and I'd definitely return next time I'm in the area.

After a family walk, we sat with drinks in the beautiful beer garden and asked if they could fit 11 of us in for dinner. Even on a busy night, they accommodated us and booked a table, asking us to preorder before we left. When we came back, we ordered drinks and were shown to our table. The food arrived quickly, and everyone said how nice it was. Friendly, helpful staff, a lovely pub in a wonderful setting. We'd definitely return.
