Ted was a wonderful host and made sure everything felt just right throughout my stay at Elnor Guest House. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and personal, and I felt at home. The breakfast was outstanding, with dishes that tasted homemade and full of care. A really lovely experience from start to finish.

We only stayed one night at Elnor Guest House, but it was such a nice visit. The room had everything we needed, and breakfast, made with local produce, was delicious. Ted made us feel at home straight away and gave us some great dinner tips. We’d definitely recommend it.

I can’t remember the breakfast, but the rest of our two-night stay at Elnor was awful. The room was cold and damp, and so cramped. The bathroom felt like a closet squeezed in, and the facilities were poor. The car park was awkward and cramped too, and we didn’t sleep well. After reading some of the other reviews, I’m left wondering if we stayed at the same place. We hated it and wouldn’t go back, even if they paid us.

We were welcomed warmly, and when the room booked for three turned out to have only a double and a single bed, the owner rearranged things and brought in another bed. Thanks for that, it was really comfortable. The room was warm, the shower was warm too, and the windows had locks for safety at night. I woke up refreshed and had a lovely cooked breakfast. I highly recommend this family-run place if you’re travelling through Bodmin. I’ll stay again when I’m back for work.

Margaret and Paul made us feel so welcome, and were happy to help with anything. Our room was clean, lovely and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with an unbeatable range of choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is honestly the best guest house I’ve stayed in.
