Premier Inn Liskeard

We booked the premium room expecting a fridge, coffee machine, more space, a view and breakfast. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean, the coffee was okay, and breakfast had an okay selection, much like the other amenities you'd expect in a standard room. The view was from the top floor and faced the main road. Even if it had been nice, the window was only 3ftx4ft, which seemed tiny for a room that size. The lift was out of order, so we had to keep taking the stairs and could constantly hear other people going up and down them. The Nespresso machine came with just two pods. We asked for more each of our three days there, but were told they'd run out. With an industrial park just across the road, they shouldn't be running out of basics advertised as included. The room needs updating. There were stains on the carpet, bedframe and curtains, and black marks on the towels. The fridge could hold two cans and a pint of milk, but didn't keep them cold enough.

Becky made breakfast a really good experience. She was fantastic to talk to and kept the place running smoothly. The hotel room was nice and clean, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming when we arrived.

The staff were extremely helpful, and the rooms were in really good condition. We took the full meal package. Breakfast was just what we needed to get ready for the day, but the evening meal wasn't up to much. I wouldn't choose dinner there next time, though maybe the local options had a part in that too.

Becks made our visit so much better. She was a breath of fresh air, went above and beyond to make me comfortable, and gave excellent suggestions for places to take the kids. I can't believe she was working with one arm and didn't complain once. What a woman 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 The kids adored her, and she kept topping up their apple juice and pancakes. A magical visit. I'll absolutely come back just to see her lovely face again.
