We’ve already booked another visit. The bungalow had genuinely good sofas, a mattress that felt like the one at home, and plenty of quality hangers. It was a cold November stay, but the heaters warmed the place quickly. The kitchen had good crockery, glassware and all the utensils we needed. There were books for all ages, and I didn’t need to bring my hairdryer or alarm clock. Tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid and soap were supplied too. Everything was immaculate, from the white bedding to the spotless white towels. Many thanks to the hosts.

We really appreciated the arrival goodies, and the hosts were easy to contact and made sure we had what we needed. It’s a handy base for Cornwall’s sights, with Golitha Falls about 10 minutes away, Looe 20 minutes, the Eden Project 30 minutes and Plymouth 40 minutes by car. The place is off the main road, which makes it a good spot for families with children. A lovely stay in a great location.

Even in November, we had a lovely week at Kingfishers Haven. The bungalow was cosy, and the bed was the best I’ve ever had on holiday. It’s also really well placed for visiting local attractions. Richard Parker (Guildford. Surrey)
