A beautiful home with lots of character, and a comfortable, fun stay for us across the generations. We came with children and grandchildren and found it ideal for everyone. It also makes a perfect base for visiting attractions in the area.

The kids loved having the third-floor “tower” room, and the beds were very comfortable. This is a big old house I love, close to town and just minutes from the beach, though the beach is a bit stony. The garden is well kept, but there’s no gate, so children need close supervision. A little TLC would help inside: the dining room chairs are delicate and some bathroom taps are stiff. We had a fabulous time and would recommend it.

We came together as a family and really enjoyed the house and its facilities. It’s lovely and clearly well cared for. We’re looking forward to returning. Thank you!

Walnut House was our best Air B&B stay yet. Great accommodation, a lovely location, and good management. Thank you!
