YHA Littlehampton

The staff were friendly and gave us useful advice about things to do nearby, based on their own experience. The location is great for amenities, but the walls seemed thin and the other guests were noisy. Doors had to be slammed shut for some reason. People with ensuite rooms seemed to use the dorms’ toilet and shower. There were just two plug sockets in our room, both by one bed, and guests moved my food around in the fridge.

A very good hostel for a few days in town, with all the basics covered. The location is ideal: town is close, and a pub, Chinese restaurant, kebab shop and LIDL are all within a five-minute walk. The Harbour and its lovely view are just around the corner, right next to a restaurant. Rooms have ensuite toilets and showers, plus a quaint lounge and a decent-sized dining area. There’s a comfortable kitchen with all kinds of utensils and equipment, and extra toilets and showers along the main corridor. The service was absolutely great.

Lovely staff and an excellent hostel, with clean facilities, a hot shower, and even teapots. There are several supermarkets within five minutes. There’s no parking of its own, which limits things a bit, but overnight parking is free and plenty of pay-and-display spaces are nearby.

We had everything we needed for our baby, including a travel cot and a kitchen for preparing meals and bottles. The staff were super friendly when they welcomed us, and the central Littlehampton location made it easy to walk along the River Arun or head to East Beach and West Beach.
