The Litton

The gardens around the pub were beautiful, and our room was really stylish. What made the stay especially good was the friendly atmosphere and how helpful every member of staff was. We had a great time visiting the area.

Service was friendly and easygoing, and the relaxed atmosphere still made the place feel a little special. It has that proper country pub feel, though the food is better than you might expect. Everything we tried was full of flavour, cooked well, and made with clearly good-quality ingredients. The whole place feels thoughtfully put together. Definitely somewhere I’d happily make a trip for, and I’ll be back.

We stopped in after a walk by the fantastic Littton Reservoir, which is close by, and the pub is surrounded by lovely countryside. There’s a great spread of food and the staff were very attentive. It’s greyhound friendly, and the overflow car park came in handy. On a sunny day, the garden would also make a great cycling stop. Fantastic place, we’ll certainly be back.

Breakfast had a superb choice, and the food in general was delicious. We stayed overnight, and our room was spotless and well appointed. The staff were extremely pleasant, polite, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend The Litton and stay again. Thank you to the team at The Litton.
